Programs

School House Outfitters

School House Outfitters provides new clothing for children in need in elementary/middle schools in our area. Children are referred by teachers, nurses or counselors and brought to our special facility for their “shopping experience,” with the help of volunteers.

The children each receive a duffle bag, four outfits, socks, underwear, shoes, a jacket and a hand knitted hat. They also receive a hygiene kit, school supplies and books. The goal of this program is to strengthen self-confidence and inspire scholastic achievement in children who are economically disadvantaged.
